چکیده
The operating conditions of axial flow fans are closely related to the thermo-flow characteristics mechanical draft direct dry cooling system. Moreover, uneven distribution air driven by may lead deterioration heat transfer capacity air-cooled condensers (ACCs). Therefore, developing energy-saving methods for is very meaningful. In this work, two kinds adjustment strategies make field more uniform proposed a 2 × 300 MW power-generating unit. performance ACCs in prevailing wind direction predicted with help macro exchanger model. It found that inlet temperatures significantly reduced strategies, especially at high speeds. minimum can meet demand strategy which made rates all consistent. Compared case without fans, total power consumption fan array was cut down effectively, up 13.94% speed 12 m/s. conclusion, energy efficiency be improved field.

Basic Guidelines for Plastic Conversion of Metal Axial Flow Fans
This paper compares the performance of two alternative HVAC fan designs: a five-blade injection molded thermoplastic design, against the more traditional three-blade stamped metal version. The study was conducted using computational fluid dynamics techniques, along with finite element structural analysis, in which we attempted to optimize the air movement characteristics of the fan, as well as ...
متن کاملEnd-plate for noise-by-flow control in axial fans
The paper presents a design procedure for anti-vortex endplates that are fitted to tip limited blades of the subsonic axial fans utilised in compact cooling units. The authors study the impact of tip leakage vortex bursting on the performance of the studied class of fans. The vortex breakdown occurs in the swirling flows at a blade’s tip, and is found to be a flow feature associated with the pr...
